Program status: In Development

Support for rebuilding after crime.

The Keith Ayo Adefumi Foundation is developing a program to help eligible crime survivors access counseling from independent licensed providers, practical life coaching, and optional pastoral support.

This program is in development. Public information is shared here so communities and providers can learn about the proposed service. Assistance enrollment, provider applications, and program-specific donations are enabled only after an administrator completes documented readiness requirements.

Service Roles

Who is involved, and what each role does

Clear boundaries keep clinical care, pastoral support, and coordination separate.

KAAF

Coordination & funding

The Foundation coordinates assistance, charitable funding, and referrals. It does not provide clinical treatment.

Keith Ayo Adefumi

Pastoral support & life coaching

Optional pastoral support and life coaching as an ordained minister and certified life coach. Not a clinical license.

Licensed counselors

Clinical care

Independently contracted, appropriately licensed counselors provide assessment, psychotherapy, and treatment within their authorized scope.

Clinical records

Stay with the provider

Clinical records remain with the treating providers. The Foundation does not store psychotherapy notes or clinical records.

Eligibility

Who this program is being designed for

Eligibility criteria are being finalized. The initial pilot is being designed for adults in the configured service area. Final eligibility depends on documented provider agreements and available funding.

Coverage

Geographic service area

Proposed service area: United States.

Assistance depends on provider availability and charitable funding. The program cannot guarantee immediate appointments, clinical outcomes, or unlimited support.

How It Works

A calm, confidential process

1

Submit a request

Share only minimal contact and preference details. No crime narrative or clinical history is requested.

2

Coordinator review

A program coordinator reviews eligibility and contacts you using your safe-contact preferences.

3

Referral & funding

If eligible and funding is available, the Foundation authorizes sessions with an approved, licensed provider.

4

Care with the provider

You receive care directly from the provider. Clinical records stay with the provider, not the Foundation.
