Frequently asked questions

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Tax treatment depends on the Foundation’s current IRS status and the facts of the contribution. The Foundation will provide the applicable acknowledgment or receipt. Donors should rely on official documentation and their tax adviser rather than assuming deductibility.

How do I modify or cancel monthly giving?

During this sandbox phase, monthly gifts are test subscriptions only. Before live recurring giving is launched, the Foundation will provide a Stripe-supported self-service or support process for changes and cancellation.

Can I make a restricted gift for a specific program?

Potentially, but restricted gifts should be accepted only after the Foundation confirms the restriction can be administered and documented. Contact us before making a program-specific designation.

What payment methods do you accept?

Stripe dynamically displays eligible payment methods in Checkout based on the account configuration, donor location, currency, device, and transaction context.
